My husband, mom and I are working to build a community of homes to help foster parents to have a home ready to do foster care. They can live in the homes with reduced rent, be in a community with other foster parents, and utilize a community center. We are just in the beginning stages. As a mommy who misses her little girl after she went to be with Jesus in heaven it breaks my heart to think that there are little ones who are abused and lonely when I still have so much love to give. Thanks for the heart that you have for foster care.

As a former foster child I would like to thank you for your williness to help those who are unable to help themselves.
As a foster parent in NC I am soooo excited about your dream. There is such a need out there, from newborns waiting for adoptions to be finalized to kids from struggling families. I care for newborns for the week to ten days until their adoptions are finalized and do weekend respite care for families in crisis. It is strictly volunteer (get reimbursed for diapers and formula only). I will definitely be praying for you as you move forward. I would love to be part of a community like that ...
